年末に予約し、
2月の最初ごろだったか届いたソフトバンクのガラパゴスは
世界で使えるスマートフォンに、
日本独自のおさいふケータイやワンセグをのせた
SHARPの目玉商品だった。
iPhoneにしたって、
SUICA(首都圏の電車やバスの電子切符）がないから
そのまま変えずにきたのだけれど、
ガラパゴスはできるとゆーじゃない！！
で、さっそくダ～と予約した。
やっと送られて来たと思ったら、なかなか使いずらい。
本家本元の電話とメールがしずらい。電話など切れない・・・汗
でも、グーグルカレンダーやGメールが出先で確認できるのは
とても仕事に役に立ったんでそのまま使っていた。
でも、電源は1日持たなかった。
多機能なのだが、メールと電話ができなくなるのが怖くて、
そのおかげで他の機能はほとんどつかっていなかった。
そして、海外出張へ。
いつもは電話番号に００８１発信というだけで、
まるで日本と同じように一部地域ではメールも電話もできた。
（ヨーロッパはOK、NYはNON）
ところが、今回は参った。。。ほぼ、フリーズ状態、充電も不可。
まずは電話ができない。
Vodafone UKへ手動設定をしないと
高額料金になるぞというメールがどんどん来るが、
リンク先を押してもネットにつながらない。
そのあたりからフリーズ状態。
今の画面からもどることも出来ず、
HOME画面にもいけず、MENUもつかえず、
つまり使えないのだ。
再起動を3回ほどすると、やっとHOMEまで戻るが
最初に見たページからまた移動するには、再起動を数回繰り返すよな状態。
メールも電話もできず、電源切れたらいざというとき困るので
電源を切ってとっておくような状態で、本当に困った。
何が世界対応携帯だ～～っ！
帰ってきて、ダ~やソフトバンクで見てもらったところ、やはりフリーズしたまま。
オンラインで買っているので、
出張帰りに有楽町のビッグカメラのソフトバンクコーナーへもっていって、
そこからカスタマーサービスへ電話してもらい対応してもらったが、
なんとも頭悪そうなマニュアルチックな回答。
担当も3回変わり、最後は責任者という男性だったが、
そのお答えは、
「そんなわけがない」「そんなふーにつくられていない」
の一点張り。(見にこいっ）
解約はできずに修理する方向でっつーけどよ、
日本ぢゃつかえたんだっつーの。
全世界へもっていっておいらのガラパゴスをテストしてきてくれるのか？？
今度また同じことになったら、ビジネスに影響あった分、
保障してくれるんか？？

えみーの対処方法はもう決めた。
自分なりに3択を考え、
１．修理後ガラパゴス継続
２．シンプルなお財布携帯とiTouchの2個持ち
３．海外や、外資系で使用頻度の高いBlack BerryとPASMO（電子切符）
今日行った外資のお取引先で何使ってるかとかいろいろ聞いてきて、
2番の2コもちにした。
シンプルで軽い携帯で、電話とメール、SUICA お財布携帯。
iTouchでネットとグーグル、音楽、他便利アプリ。
これなら取引先やお客様と電池気にせず、電話やメールができる！
ネットに常時つなげるためにはまたまたEMと契約。
卵のような世界最小の無線Wi-hiの機種が
iTouchを買うと1円なんだとか。
ついでにiTouchが平日で売り上げが悪いとかで本日だけ５０００円引き。
８Gにしたので、１５０００円で買えた。
おいらの愛用しているi Podより安い!
まだガラパゴス戦争を終えてから買う予定だったが、
1円EMと５０００円引きセットで購入したさ～
そのWi-FiモデムはPCでも携帯でもITouchでも同時に使えて、
いろんなところと契約しなくていいんだとか。
えみーはLet's Noteに内臓されているWi-MAXでつないでいるが、
移動中とかつながる場所は限られている。
EMはそのアタリが強いらしい。
Wi-MAXも使わなければ３００円ぐらいなので、臨機応変に選択しよう。
さて、いつもはとっくに寝ているこの時間、
時差ぼけで愚痴ブログで暇つぶし・・・
