ええ、また時差ボケなのか夜中に起きて仕事など少々。。。
この、仕事ってところが、悲しいわけではありますが、
何せ、あともう少しの間はひとり体制ですんで、やることてんこ盛り。。
とことん疲れてろ～って思って、
昼間は、ひさしぶりにダ~とゴルフの練習いったはずなのに・・・
ところで、ヨーロッパに行っていつもかんじることがあります。
それは家族の絆が強いってところ。
多民族で、同じアングロサクソンでも、どこの国の人かわからない。
もちろん、白人、黄色人種、アフリカ系黒人、昨今はインド人、などなど、
いろんな人種が同じ空間で存在しているわけで、
文化も違えば、言語も習慣も、宗教も政治も違う中、
やはり、誰を信じていいか分からないし、テロやデモ、治安の悪い地区もあり、自分たちの親族で協力しあっていかなければサバイバルできない・・・という歴史的な、民族的な理由かもしれない。
企業なども同族経営が多いし,まじめで律儀な日本人のようなひとたちばかりではないので信用できないのかもしれない。
それに多くの３K職種はアフリカ系の移民が締めていて、それらの人には疑いの眼差しを留めているし、いつもどこかイライラした不満げな様子だ。
ヨーロッパといえば、アメリカの前の大英帝国をはじめ、その前のスペインやオランダなど昔の覇権国家でやはりじりじりと衰退している国々だ。高度経済成長後の日本に比べてあちこち建物も車も汚いし、貧しい。アラブ系の物乞いも少なくない。
しかしメトロやバスなどに乗れば、親が子を見守り、公園では子供たちを元気に遊ばせ、街を歩けば老夫婦が手を取り合ってささえあって歩いている。ビストロやカフェで一服していれば、恋人たち、友達たちが夢中でしゃべっている。ブランドショップでさえ、夫婦や家族で買い物をしている。
なにか見通しが明るくない気配の中で人々が支えあって暮らしているような空気が流れていた。。。
パリやミラノなどの都市でさえこうなのだから、地方都市に行けばなおさらだろう。
そして日本。。。
都内を移動中、横浜との往復の電車の中、何か乾いた空気を感じる。
すっかり宗教なんてうさんくさいもののように隅においやられた無宗教状態。
サムライ、ココロザシ、ソンケイ、ホコリ、オモイヤリ・・
多くのの熟年夫婦は仲が悪そうで、
地下鉄で見詰め合って話す中年夫婦も手をつないで歩く供白髪夫婦もみたことないし、
老人を目の前に席を譲らないPCに夢中の青年、
我が子をベビーカーの乗せて泣いていても構いもしないママ、
置き去りにされて恐怖で泣き叫ぶちっちゃな子を振り向きもせず置いて歩いていくママ、
どちらの民族がいいってことではなく、それぞれいいところ悪いところはあるだろうけれど、
どこか自信がなさげで、寂しそうで、元気もなく、彷徨っている風な日本人たち。
その数倍質素に暮らしているだろうヨーロッパの、幸せそうな表情をたたえたひとたち。
単一民族島国安全ってことの反動なのか、国内皆兄弟ってことなのか、
なにやら、ひろくて薄いのを通り越して、
あったかい血が流れていない、殺伐としたロボットのような
ひととひととのかかわりの温度の低さを、
日本で多く感じる今日この頃。。。
